Takin’ it to the Streets version 3.0

Get involved in one of our Community Outreach Projects as part of our Third Annual “Taking it to the Streets”. You may sign up online or in your Sunday School Class beginning Sunday, October 8. This is a great missions adventure for Sunday School classes to work toward.

Block Party
with Light of the Village Ministry
We will be providing volunteers to help with a fun Block Party with inflatables, hamburgers and hot dogs, face painting, salvation bracelets and more.
Departs FBC at 2:30PM
Servants Needed:  75+ Teenagers and Adults
Team Leader:  Ryan Smith

Nursing Home/Shut-in Visitation
We will be checking in on those that are confined to an assisted living facility or to their home with a word of encouragement from FBC.
Meet: 4:00PM at Choir Room
Servants Needed:  40-50 Adults
Team Leader: A.B. Sawyer

Sweet Treats for Teachers/Educators
We will be preparing and delivering goodie trays to our school teachers/staff.  We need lots of baked goodies for this project, so we are asking our members to bake up lots of cookies and brownies to bring to church for this team to place on platters to be delivered that afternoon and the following week.
Servants Needed:  Lots of folks to bake goodies PLUS  50+ Preschool / Children’s families to work together on putting together the goodie platters and making cards.

Canvas and Hand Out Info Bags
We will  be targeting some new subdivisions in our area and leaving them information about FBC and seeing if they have ministry needs.

Servants Needed:  75-100 Adults/Students/Children

Block Party
Shellbrooke Pointe Apartment Complex | 4:00 –6:00 PM
We will be providing a fun afternoon event and sharing the love of Christ with the residents of Shellbrooke Pointe Apartments located on Twin Beech Rd. We will need folks to help us cook burgers and hot dogs, serve the food, help with fun inflatable games, face painting, salvation bracelets and just mixing and mingling with the residents.
Meet in the Social Hall at 3:00 PM.
Servants Needed: 40-50 Students/Adults
