First Kid’s Summer Day Camp”

All First Kids Summer Day Camp is gearing up for it’s second awesome summer! Here’s the scoop:
*Camp begins Tuesday, May 29 and runs weekly through the duration of the summer, 7:30-5:30 daily
*Registration fee is $55.00 per child ($65.00 per child after April 27th).
*Open to any child who has completed any grade this year between K and 6th grade.
*Cost- Full time is $100.00 per week, Part time is $70.00 per week and drop in is $25.00 per day. Multi-child discounts are available for siblings.
*Registration packets will be available beginning Monday, April 2, in the church office and packet is online now  (UPDATED 4-1-12) Summer Day Camp 2012 Packet

*Activities during the summer will include several awesome field trips, bookmobile (library) visits to camp, music, arts/crafts, sign language, drama, Bible study,movies, Wii time, tech days, outdoor play, and much more.

“VBS is Flyin’ High this year!”
June 18-22, 9:00-12:45 each day

Amazing Wonders if this years theme for VBS. Kids will travel the world over and see the seven wonders of the world. First Baptist’s VBS if for kids entering K through those exiting 6th grade.

Classes for children Birth through Grade 6 are held Sundays at 10:30 am. Most children’s classes are located on the second floor of the south building.

3, 4, & 5 year olds. Learn about missions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

This missions program for boys in grades 1-6 meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Boys learn about missions and participate in craft, social, and service activities.

Girls learn about missions and do individual and collective craft and service activities in this program for girls in grades 1-6. They meet Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Choir for 4 year olds that meet Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. (During school year). Hands-on methods are used to teach basic music skills.

Five year old choir that meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. (During school year). Children learn songs and music technique.

Music activities and choir for boys and girls in 1st & 2nd grades meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

This choir for 3rd & 4th grade boys and girls, meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Grades 5 & 6 enjoy this Wednesday night (5:30 p.m.) praise and worship experience that includes age appropriate praise songs and a time of devotion and reflection.

Extended Session is child care provided during the Sunday Morning Worship Services for children ages birth through preschool 3. These boys and girls are cared for by workers and volunteer parent staff in our preschool area.

Preschool 4 and 5 go to this age appropriate worship service after participating in each morning service up to the welcome. It is lead by a very capable, loving, volunteer staff.

A time on Sunday evenings while siblings and parents are learning to put their faith to work, kids can too as they encounter Kids Discipleship held on the third floor of the west building, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Weekday Early Education is provided for preschoolers 1 – 5 years old on the preschool wing of the church. Enrollment may be made for M-F, M-W-F, or T-Th from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day.
