50/50 Worship Rally
Wednesdays this summer are a great opportunity for your (completed) 1-5th grade child to sing praise, hear God’s Word, and have a blast with team games as together we seek to know him and make him known. Half of the night will be worship and the Word, and the other half will be team building time to keep Galatians 5:22 joy alive in the hearts of our kids. Some nights throughout the summer will be theme nights and will require your kids to go out and do ministry. YOU DON’T want to miss Wednesdays this summer. 50/50 Worship Rally begins each week in “the garage” from 6:30-7:30pm. See you there!!! Any questions? See Kevin
Vacation Bible School 2013
Gonna be a WILD and FUN ride!
So…. how many ups and downs did you experience yesterday? Theme parks can’t invent a roller coaster to outdo the ups, downs and screamingly sharp turns experienced by most families in the course of a normal week!
During this year’s VBS, kids will investigagte the thrilling and dangerous adventures of Paul, who became a follower of Jesus. They’ll be encoruaged to trust, speak up, believe, and stand strong, knowing that God will give them confidence and courage in their lives. VBS is for kids who have completed Kindergarten through completed grade 5.

INFO YOU NEED TO KNOW about VBS 2013:
Please note that ALL CHILDREN OF TEACHERS AND LEADERS must register their children online for vacation Bible school at fbcfairhop.org. Space is limited and teaching or leading in Vacation Bible School does not secure an automatic spot for your child. You must sign up your child to secure their spot. Also please note that Leaders and Teachers do not need to sign up online. Please see Marcy Smith or Bro Kevin if you would like to sign up to teach or assist in VBS. We are in desperate need of 4 lead teachers for Kindergarten. If you are willing to serve our little ones this year in VBS please contact us ASAP. VBS will be here soon and we still need lots of help. If you are a registered Teacher or leader in VBS with a 3-4 year old child, you must sign up your 3-4 year old in the office of children’s ministry. Our 3-4 year old class is available for children of on campus VBS teachers only. Thanks in advance for your cooperation in helping us better prepare for Colossal Coaster World. Preschool 4′s-K Help Needed
We are in need of volunteers to lead 4’s – K Children each Wednesday night throughout the Summer and on Sunday evening each week during worship. During our transition in searching for a preschool director, we need help in order to provide for these areas. We currently have no volunteers to help with these two vital areas of ministry. Volunteers would be required to lead kids in music, scripture reading, and a weekly Bible story, as well as themed puzzles, crafts, and games that correspond with the weekly lesson. If preschool ministry is where God has blessed you, see Kevin as soon as possible to be plugged in. in order to help us provide more than childcare on these nights, please volunteer today. First Kids Summer Day Camp First Kids Summer Day camp is gearing up for it’s third amazing summer! Camp begins Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 and runs weekly, 7:30 – 5:30 daily, with the exception of July 4.Registration fee is $55.00 per child ($65.00 per child after April 30th). Open to any child who has completed any grade this current school year between Kindergarten and 6th grade. Full time is $100 per week, Part time is $70 per week and drop in is $25 per day. Activities during the summer will include several awesome field trips, bookmobile (library) visits to camp, music, arts/crafts, sign language, drama, Bible study, movies, Wii time, tech days, outdoor play and much more. If you have students in the Student ministry, and have already created a login there, then you are ready. If this will be your first time to register, you will be asked to create a login. You must remember this as we will have NO record of what you put in for that. Good news is once it’s in… it’s yours forever.

Annual Permission Form
Download, print and complete the annual permission form for Kids You’re gonna need a permission form for all Children’s Ministry Trips, so click on the link here and print your’s out. Bible Study
Classes for children Birth through Grade 6 are held Sundays at 10:30 am. Most children’s classes are located on the second floor of the south building.
Mission Friends
3, 4, & 5 year olds. Learn about missions at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Royal Ambassadors (R.A.)
This missions program for boys in grades 1-6 meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Boys learn about missions and participate in craft, social, and service activities.
Girls in Action (G.A.)
Girls learn about missions and do individual and collective craft and service activities in this program for girls in grades 1-6. They meet Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Wee Singers Too Choir
Choir for 4 year olds that meet Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. (During school year). Hands-on methods are used to teach basic music skills.
His Kids 2
Five year old choir that meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. (During school year). Children learn songs and music technique.
Music Makers
Music activities and choir for boys and girls in 1st & 2nd grades meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Young Musicians
This choir for 3rd & 4th grade boys and girls, meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)
Grades 5 & 6 enjoy this Wednesday night (5:30 p.m.) praise and worship experience that includes age appropriate praise songs and a time of devotion and reflection.
Extended Session
Extended Session is child care provided during the Sunday Morning Worship Services for children ages birth through preschool 3. These boys and girls are cared for by workers and volunteer parent staff in our preschool area.
Worship Kids Style
Preschool 4 and 5 go to this age appropriate worship service after participating in each morning service up to the welcome. It is lead by a very capable, loving, volunteer staff.
Kids Discipleship
A time on Sunday evenings while siblings and parents are learning to put their faith to work, kids can too as they encounter Kids Discipleship held on the third floor of the west building, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Learning Tree
Weekday Early Education is provided for preschoolers 1 – 5 years old on the preschool wing of the church. Enrollment may be made for M-F, M-W-F, or T-Th from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day.
