Children’s Home Dinner
Thank you to Cliff and Kristie Street, Kelly and Carla Trull, Marcy Smith, Kim Rylee and all of our RA leaders and children who will be hosting the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home this Sunday night November 24th, 2013 in the Fellowship Hall. This annual event allows a great number of children who live in a foster setting the opportunity to enjoy a great meal, receive thoughtful gifts from our leaders, and be treated to a fun activity (skating at Hot wheels in Daphne) following the dinner and a portion of the evening worship service. All RAs are invited to participate along with their dad this night. It’s a great opportunity for dads and sons to connect with each other through service while being a blessing to others through serving Jesus. If you would like to assist this night, please be in Fellowship hall this Sunday afternoon by 3:30 p.m. and see Cliff Street. If your child is attending the Skating event this night please note that children 1st-5th grade will leave the church by bus after the children’s music portion of the Thanksgiving service, and will return to the church for parent pick up in the back parking lot by 8:00 p.m. See Dee Pace or Cliff Street for more information.
Jesus – The Greatest Gift
The Children’s Ministry of FBC Fairhope is once again preparing to construct our annual Christmas float. The theme of this years float is “The Gifts of Christmas” and will once again boast a Birthday theme. Our children will showcase the Savior in a humble manger scene as the world’s greatest gift. (And yes… something has to rotate!) Immediate needs are for funding for the float. If you would be willing to assist us in this area, please see Kevin ASAP. This year’s parade is Friday night December 6. The parade will roll at 7:00 p.m.
