Philippines Disaster Relief
Philippines Relief Donations…the Best Way to Help Many have wondered how to help relieve the misery of hunger, homelessness, and other devastating circumstances of the survivors of the recent super typhoon in the Philippines. The best way you can help is to give generously directly to the INTERNATIONAL MISSON BOARD’S Relief Fund. The International Mission Board already has people on the ground in that country and they will be able to use your gifts in the ways that are most needed. 100% of what you give will be used for relief efforts. If you would like to make a donation, simply go to this website that has been set up: https://netcommunity.imb.org/SuperTyphoonHaiyan.

Women’s Care Christmas Tree Project
Women’s Care Medical Center, Robertsdale, AL The Women’s Care Christmas Tree is located in the hall between the Social Hall and Fellowship Hall. Ornaments on the tree lists the articles needed by the clinic in its support of caring for babies and their parents. This clinic sees, counsels, provides all medical care for the expectant mother. When the baby arrives, each parent must attend parenting classes. This entire process is based on the Christian tenant of God’s love for His children and provides a Christian environment for these parents. Upon “graduating”, the parents are given a Bible for themselves and for their little one and are provided the opportunity to shop in the clinic’s store where all provisions for the care of these babies is available. The Christmas tree ornaments, each with a need on the back, are the main drive by the clinic to stock the store for these parents. Please select an ornament and bring it unwrapped. Place it in one of the large bags provided around the tree. This is a church-wide mission effort that goes to show our united effort to remember God’s words,” And a little child will lead them.” If you have any questions or need any help supporting this project please contact Johnnie Sue Watts, 928.1009 or firstname.lastname@example.org
